1 (12 oz.) package of egg noodles
2 (10.5 oz.) cans of condensed cream of mushroom soup
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
2 (5 oz.) cans tuna, drained
1 cup frozen green peas
½ (4.5 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
¼ cup chopped onion
1 cup crushed potato chips
Assemble all the components.
Lightly salted water should be added to a big saucepan and quickly brought to a boil. Cook egg noodles at a boil for 7 to 9 minutes or until they are soft to the bite but still firm.
The oven temperature should be 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
Combine noodles, condensed soup, 1 cup of cheese, tuna, peas, mushrooms, and onion in a bowl.
Put the mixture in a baking dish that measures nine by 13 inches.
Crushed potato chips and the final cup of cheese are sprinkled on top of the mixture.
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in a preheated oven or until cheese bubbles.
