1 (2 liters) bottle of lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage

2 tbsp. sugar

2 tbsp. hot sauce

1 tbsp. crushed red pepper flakes

1 tbsp. black pepper

One large sweet onion, sliced

Four turkey legs

2 tbsp. honey

1 tbsp. steak seasoning



Set an outdoor grill on high heat and quickly oil the grates.

Mix the carbonated beverage with the lemon-lime flavor, sugar, hot sauce, red pepper, pepper, and onion in a big pot. Bring the mixture to a boil while adding the turkey legs. Cook the turkey for 30 to 45 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 180 degrees F (80 degrees C).

Slices of onion should be removed from the mixture and placed on the hot grill. Over the onions, arrange the turkey legs. Season with steak spice and drizzle with honey. Cook for 20 minutes, adjusting once, or until the turkey legs have developed a crisp, browned crust.
