Simple Turkey Chili

Ingredients:
1 ½ tsp. olive oil
1 lb ground turkey
One onion, chopped
2 cups water
1 (28 oz.) can of canned crushed tomatoes
1 (16 oz.) can canned kidney beans – drained, rinsed, and mashed
1 tbsp. garlic, minced
2 tbsp. chili powder
½ tsp. paprika
½ tsp. dried oregano
½ tsp. ground cayenne pepper
½ tsp. ground cumin
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. Ground black pepper
Directions:
Oil in a big pot is heated at medium heat. Add turkey; cook and stir for 6 to 8 minutes or until evenly browned. Add the onion and go until it is soft.
Tomatoes, kidney beans, and garlic are combined; then, add water. Add salt, pepper, cumin, cayenne, paprika, oregano, and chili powder.
Up to a boil. For 30 minutes, simmer with the heat reduced to low and the lid on.
